Today, we're joined by Teri Sellers, a Certified Dementia Practitioner with over three decades of experience in senior care. Teri will be sharing her insights on dementia, a condition that affects many families in our community in profound ways.
Teri shares how she started her career in corporate senior care, moved into management, and then started her own business, Golden Assist. She's moved to Arizona about twenty years ago and has lived and served in PebbleCreek for the past fourteen years.
Soon after she and her husband settled in PebbleCreek, Teri was introduced to the Alzheimer's Support Group, which was founded by our community's Kare Bears. Teri soon found herself leading the Alzheimer's group and continued for about twelve years. Recently, Kare Bears resumed sponsoring the group, and Teri currently leads the Alzheimer's Support Group at Desert Springs Church in Goodyear, AZ.
